Home

Welcome to The Thomas M. Abell House – a property that boasts over 160 years of documented history and was awarded the Neighborhood Pride Award in May, 2001.

In October 2019, we launched as a self-serve Bed and Breakfast through the AirBnB website. Please click here to view our profile.

The central hallway and staircase of the house serve as a unique location for an intimate wedding venue (and a State-licensed officiant is right next door!).
The lawn to the west of the house can easily accommodate canopy tents for outdoor events.
Please contact us directly to discuss details.

About

Despite its previous use as a lodging house/rented bedrooms (not quite a Bed and Breakfast at that time) and being turned into a duplex, this property is a testament to good craftsmanship and loving care.

The story of the Abell residency is an inspirational story of perseverance and neighborly love. (Click here to read more or select from the ‘about’ subpages above.)

The Thomas M. Abell House can be found in The Historic Perkins Homestead Neighborhood, and is situated within walking distance to the Robins Theatre, downtown businesses around Courthouse Square, and the Amphitheater at Perkins Park.
Grocery stores, the Eastwood Mall, Mosquito Lake State Park, local bike trails, etc are all nearby.
We’re grateful to be close to the Western Reserve Transit Authority bus stop on Washington Street.
